OPENING UPDATE

TRAILER PARK
We are pleased to announce that the trailer park will be opening on Saturday, May 30, 2020.  
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only people who have a lease will be allowed in the trailer park.   The only people allowed at your campsite must reside with you at your permanent address.  Everyone else is consider a visitor and must not enter the park. All physical and social distancing rules are to be observed. However, all common areas will remain closed.  This includes washrooms, showers, laundromat and playground.

MARINA
SEASONAL SLIPS - Only customers and family(living in the same household) will be permitted at your slip. All physical and social distancing must be observed. Please be aware that the public washrooms, showers and laundromat will remain closed.  


RESTAURANT
Due to COVID-19, we have decided not to open the restaurant this season. We hope that with everyone's co-operation you will still be able to enjoy your summer season. As the government changes the restrictions, we will also.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in our comfortable hotel rooms or cottages located in the village of Britt, Ontario. Overlooking the breathtaking Georgian Bay, take advantage of our Sports Bar and Family Restaurant, full service Marina and General Store where you can load up on such items as groceries, ice, bait or tackle.
Britt is a cozy hamlet of 350 year around residents located 100 km south of Sudbury and 65 km north of Parry Sound on Highway 526 off of Highway 69. It is at mileage 62 from Parry Sound on sheet 3 of Georgian Bay Small Craft Chart no. 2203 and 65 miles east-south east of Killarney along the small craft route on Chart no. 2204. Trail C of the OFSC trail system crosses the Magnetawan River or Byng Inlet at Britt.

The majority of residents are descendants of pioneers who worked the huge lumber mills, the CPR Coal Docks and the commercial fishing boats in the late 1800’s and the first half of the 1900’s.

The port has 2 large marinas, a post office, 2 churches, a Legion Hall, a Volunteer Fire Department, Nursing Station, a Medevac Helipad, 1 General store, 1 Restaurant, 1 Inn, recreational facilities and a Canadian Coast Guard Crew stationed at Gereaux Lighthouse.
